DAY 1-2 BANGALORE
Welcome to Bangalore, India’s Silicon City, also known as Garden City famous for its salubrious climate, cosmopolitan outlook, easy going and friendly attitude. Discover Bangalore and its historic gardens. Visit the beautiful Lalbagh, Cubbon Park, marvel at the architectural grandeur of Vidhan Soudha , an example of neo-Dravidian style architecture, the imposing and inspiring ISKCON Temple lavishly decorated in a mix of ultra-contemporary and traditional styles, the historic Bull Temple, containing a huge granite monolith of Nandi built by Kempegowda, the Founder of Bangalore. Late evening: Leave for Mysore (142 kms; 3 Hrs ride)
DAY 3-4 NAGARHOLE NATIONAL PARK/ KABINI
After morning breakfast travel from Bangalore to Kabini a breathtaking ride that offers an extremely beautiful view of tranquil backwaters of River Kabini. Arrive in Kabini river lodge, rated as one of the most exotic places in the world to live in. Take a coracle ride on the river and back your luck to see a large congregation of wild elephants bathing. Explore the jungles of Nagarhole National Park through Jeep safari and enjoy an elephant ride. The Nagarahole, famous for its snakes and reptiles, is one of the quietest and loneliest place you can imagine
DAY 5-7 WAYANAD
After breakfast leave for Vythiri (120 kms; 3-3.5 hr ride), an exciting ride through the dense jungles of Nilgiris. Chill at Pookot Lake in a boat safari, bounded all round by dense jungle terrain. Evening: Unwind time, followed by a once-in-a-lifetime experience ofstaying in a Tree House, perched on high trees! Wrap up the day in a room facing gushing streams. The following day begins with sightseeing tour to a multitude of green spaces. Renew and rejuvenate yourself with a traditional Kerala ayurveda therapy, or relax in a Spa. Dump the couch and go trekking in the thick forests, or take a Jeep Safari into the jungles to explore topography and wild animals in their habitat. Evening: Chill time/Leisure
DAY 8 ATHIRAPALLY WATERFALLS
Travel to Athirapally waterfalls( Often referred to as India’s Niagara Falls) Stay in the luxurious rainforest resort the guests of which have been famous film stars and Miss Indias. Stay in Luxurious waterfall facing room and enjoy the nature. Go on short hikes and enjoy your time with partner at a tree house.
DAY 9-10 MUNNAR
Travel from Athirapally to Munnar - a place know for its natural beauty. On the way to Munnar, breathe in some of the most beautiful nature views. Go on a sightseeing tour of Munnar and see places like Dams for boating, various romantic points, and waterfalls or simply go on short walks to explore the greenery of the place. Explore the spectacle of green dense hills looming over romantic lakes and surrounded by jungles.
OPTIONAL: (a) A visit to Eravikulam National Park where you can spot various wild-life species, and go on short/long treks if you wish. b) A visit to Kollukumalai Tea estate, the highest tea growing estate in the world, producing the world's best quality tea. It's a lush green Tea Garden, with a beautiful view of labyrinthine narrow alleys mushroomed by surrounding tea plantations, valleys and slopes.)
DAY 11-12 PERIYAR NATIONAL PARK
Take a three hour drive from Munnar to Thekkady, passing through a greenish blur of tea gardens, spices estates and gardens. Take a Boat Safari at Thekkady. Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is home to over 1,000 elephants, 46 tigers, and several bisons, and wild dogs. Viewing these wild animals in their natural habitat while being safely ensconced in a boat on a lake with your partner in the midst of natural beauty is stuff, dreams are made of. Go on a spice tour and visit a rural village of spices teeming with an array of aromatic spice plantations of Cardamom, Clover, Cinnamon, etc. Go on a Jungle trek if you wish to see wildlife from close quarters.
DAY 13 HOUSEBOAT
Travel to Kumarakom boat jetty and get transferred to a luxury houseboat. Cruise along the romantic backwaters amidst natural beauty and enjoy the beautiful landscape. Should you wish, get an insight into the daily lives of the local people. Spend the night in the houseboat -- Nightcap in a houseboat is a memorable experience!
DAY 14 COCHIN/ Bangalore
After morning breakfast arrive in Cochin and fly to Bangalore.
