The capital city of India, was planned by Edwin Lutyens, the 20th century British architect, and is a unique blend of heritage (Old Delhi) and a modern metropolis (New Delhi). Old Delhi city has monuments like Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India, the massive Red Fort, Chandni Chowk and Raj Ghat - the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi. Qutub Minar a 72 meter high monument, and Humayun's Tomb built in mid 16th century. Chandni Chowk is labyrinth of narrow streets and is an experience to feel. You can drive past India Gate, the Rashtrapati Bhavan (the official residence of the President of India), Safdarjung's Tomb & the Indian Parliament.
